International
New Architecture Magazine has published PARAVANT Architects' design for
the Swiss Embassy in Yaoundé, Cameroun, in their October 2012 issue.
The design is a unique dialectic pairing of a highly public and
representational buil
ding
with extraordinarily sensitive requirements concerning privacy and
security. The design of the compound uses the courtyard building type to
address the need for privacy and security while also expressing the
vernacular thoughts towards space, light and air that is typical in this
region.
